Since 2007, Bill Malloy has served as a board member and president of the company that his Scottish ancestors created in the early 1800s. For six generations, Malloy and Company has been involved in different facets of real estate investment. In 2013, Bill Malloy became a founding investor and general partner of Sway Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in IT software startups. His main responsibilities with Sway Ventures involve Investment sourcing, diligence and growth.
Malloy also is a board member of many technology start-up companies, including Live Action Next Generation Network Management Software and HyTrust, among others. Malloy received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and project management from Clemson University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. When not working, he enjoys parenting his two children and surfing. He also serves as a trustee of the Malloy Foundation and is a co-founder of the PEERS Network.
