A former resident of Belvedere, California, Michael T. Jackson moved to Florida in 2002. He resides with his wife Pepper in Ocean Ridge, FL.
Michael T. Jackson is the founder of SFG Asset Advisors, a San Francisco-based family investment office. In mid 1980s, Mr. Jackson founded and served as chairman and chief executive officer at Emerging Growth Management in San Francisco. The hedge fund consistently brought in high returns, averaging 23.5 percent. He helped to grow the firm from $875,000 to $1.2 billion during the 15 years he was in charge of its management.
Mr. Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he majored in finance. While there, he was a recipient of an academic scholarship, president of the Sigma Phi fraternity and an honor student on the Dean’s List. He went on to obtain his master of business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Southern California. He also obtained a certificate in advanced investment management from the Harvard Business School.
