For nearly two decades, Luisa De Roo has served as founding president and owner of Luisa De Roo Architecture, Inc. Based in Woodstock, Illinois, the firm provides procurement of furniture, fixtures, equipment and flooring for the interior environment along with project management and construction management services.
Ms. De Roo’s firm handles all aspects of the interior environment, including furniture, flooring, and fixtures. She has provided space-planning, furniture, and equipment specification services to several schools in Chicago, Illinois, and managed new furniture installation and delivery for United States Navy barracks located in Great Lakes. In addition, she and her company managed the furniture installation for the new Chicago Bears football stadium at Soldier Field.
Ms. De Roo holds a bachelor of fine arts in interior architecture from the Art Institute of Chicago and a project management certificate from Loyola University. Additionally, she attended the Chicago Management Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Certified by both the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), she has completed additional courses in building inspection, codes, and contracts, and she is pursuing a leadership in sustainability management (LEEDS) certification at the University of Chicago.
