An experienced political and business strategist, Lencho Rendon currently serves as the founder and president of LR Global, LLC, an international consulting firm based in Corpus Christi, Texas. He provides strategic solutions for domestic and international businesses, including guidance on partnership building, federal compliance, and international licensing requirements. In addition to offering world class business counsel to clients, Rendon specializes in working with businesses that are owned and operated by service-disabled veterans and minorities.
Earlier in his career, Rendon spent 25 years in Washington, D.C., as the principal staff officer for Texas Congressman Solomon Ortiz. He was responsible for three Congressional offices and managed a wide variety of efforts related to homeland security, taxation, and public works. While in this role, Rendon also engaged in senior-level diplomatic missions around the world and led efforts to advance the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He went on to earn a number of accolades for his efforts, including the U.S. House of Representatives Certificate of Appreciation.
Prior to his time on Capitol Hill, Rendon served the South Texas community as chief deputy sheriff in Nueces County (Texas), where he supervised tactical and narcotics operations. He was also an undercover special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration for a number of years.
