A senior at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Kevin Waida is pursuing his bachelor of communications degree with a concentration in business and financial planning. He previously attended Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, where he maintained a 3.75 grade point average while serving as a member of the student council and a basketball team manager. In recognition of his exceptional academic potential, Fairview ranked Kevin Waida among its 14 most promising students.
During his high school years, Mr. Waida was also proud to participate in Fairview’s Leadership Enrichment program. Before graduating in 2011, he received a Colorado Journalism award and a School Spirit and Leadership award.
Kevin Waida’s considerable leadership skills manifest themselves in the workplace as well as the classroom. As a part-time employee of Columbia’s AL Gustin Golf Course, he has taken charge of a number of company initiatives and acted as chief leader of cart operations. Since 2013, he has simultaneously served as an intern at the Columbia Golf Foundation.
