I live and draw in Newcastle upon Tyne. When I was a young boy somone gave me a pencil to draw with... and I never stopped.
My early influences have included things from Looney Tunes and Charlie Brown cartoons, to comics by Marvel and Stan Sakai. My cartoony style works well for children's books, comic art, greetings cards, company mascots and all kinds of different things in-between. I start with pencil & paper for that natural hand-drawn look, and my digital skills enable me to work and amend things quickly and cleanly. I'm most creative in the afternoon, though when I'm in full flow the clock is irrelevant. Or is it an elephant? Actually, that gives me an idea for another drawing...
