Since 1999, Soloman Shah, MD, has practiced at Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates, P.C., located in Reston, Virginia. He leverages his board certifications in gastroenterology and internal medicine to treat patients with various disorders, particularly those related to the liver. Soloman Shah, MD, is also affiliated with the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, the Reston Hospital Center, and Inova Loudoun Hospital.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Soloman Shah participates in meetings and events with the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has also performed research in the field of gastroenterology, including the Hemoprompt Project, which aimed to develop a new hemoccult card for screening. The results of the project were submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Shah completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and received his MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He fulfilled his internship and residency at the University of Maryland Medical School, as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Maryland Hospital.
