Alan Bernick - Community-Involved Minnesota Legal Professional
A longtime Twin Cities-area attorney, Alan Bernick began his law career with Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP in the early 1980s and focused his practice on taxation and corporate law. Alan Bernick primarily advised business and individual clients in a wide range of commercial transactions,and managed tax-planning, compliance and disputes at the state and federal levels.
Since 2000, Alan Bernick has served as the general counsel for the window and patio door company Andersen Corporation. He is also a company senior vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary. He maintains an active presence in his professional and charitable communities. He is a member of the Twin Cities Cardozo Society, a professional affinity group that includes law student, judges and attorneys. Alan Bernick is an officer of the Temple of Aaron synagogue in St. Paul and serves on the executive committee. In addition, for the past decade, he has helped guide the Tozer Foundation, a non-profit foundation that provides college scholarships to worthy Minnesota students, as a director.
